Mike is an ASE Certified Master Technician, with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive service industry. He also holds a certification as an Advanced Engine Performance Specialist (L1) and is a Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection Mechanic. Mike has also taken on the role of consultant for the Automotive Training Institute located in Linthicum, Maryland. This position allows him to share his knowledge and passion for the industry with other repair shops throughout the country.
Shelle earned an Associate’s Degree from Central Penn College in Specialized Business. Now the general manager of Mike’s KARS she is the driving force in the day to day operations. Her varied business background in the legal field and healthcare setting has served her well at Mike’s KARS.
Mike and Shelle have been married for 32 years and have 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. Shelle loves spending time at home, gardening or reading a good book. She is also very passionate about supporting animal rescue organizations including the Sato Project where they have adopted 3 dogs for their furever home. Mike enjoys building projects (usually instigated by his daughters), finding a new favorite craft beer and restoring WWII jeeps with his Dad. He is the current President of a newly established Military Vehicle Preservation Association.
